February, the Month of Love

It’s common knowledge that February is dubbed “the Month of love.” And it’s no wonder why. Aside from Valentine’s Day, the month consists of several other love- and relationship-themed holidays such as Give Kids a Smile Day, Freedom to Marry Day, Random Acts of Kindness Day, Galentine’s Day (for female friendships), Love Your Pets Day, and Library Lovers’ Day. So the love we celebrate in February is not just for couples and sweethearts; it’s also love for ourselves, our families, our friends, and even our pets.

Our Cinema Room, Screen Spot

The holiday season is over, but the season of love is just beginning. Take out time to strengthen your relationship with your partner, bond with family and buddies, meet new people, and make new friends. Here at Art Tech District we have a number of team-bonding exercises, activities, and games suitable for the season and its purpose. The Escape Room is one of such exercises. It’s an organized room adventure in which a minimum of two and a maximum of six team players work together to discover clues, crack codes, and solve puzzles to escape “the Heist” within 30 minutes. This exercise, highly cooperative and fostering relationship bonds, is perfect for couples, family members, friends, colleagues, small professional teams, and so forth. Unusual exercises such as this engender a different but healthy vibe in relationships.

Looking for places to share a moment of intimate relaxation with your partner, far away from the bustle of everyday life? Well, maybe it’s time to visit Screen Spot, our cozy cinema where you can book a private movie session with your partner, or with friends. You could also dine in one of our beautiful, top-tier restaurants — Lagos Bistro, Amazonia, and Sketch — offering both local and continental meals and desserts. We also have numerous upcoming events to warm up your hearts in this cold Month. Follow our Instagram page @arttechdistrict for updates.

Amazonia

The busyness of everyday life, throughout the year, can take away from opportunities for self-care — opportunities to take care of yourself, to do things deliberately that preserves or improves your mental and physical health. It is important (and we advise) that you also use this month of love as an opportunity to pay extra attention to your health and wellbeing. You can only truly love others when you show the same love to yourself. Love yourself!
