Becoming by Anthony Azekwoh

The Discovery Museum held its new Exhibition series “Becoming” alongside Nigeria’s foremost digital artist and author, Anthony Azekwoh. The series, which showcased some of his most fascinating artworks was on display at the museum. The alluring series was inspired by Anthony’s own self-growth and belief in becoming all that he has ever envisioned. His story is brilliantly depicted through specific markers. It’s no wonder the exhibition was the paramount highlight of the museum, with everyone being drawn to Its intrinsic interpretation.

Permanent Secretary of Information and Culture visits Discovery Museum

It was such a delight to receive the Permanent Secretary of information and Culture, Dr. Mrs. Ifeoma Anyanwutaku, on a special tour of the Discovery Museum on the 14th of April 2022.

The extensive tour was led by ATD’s general manager, Farida Dikko.

Dr. Anyanwataku was extremely fascinated by the museum’s digital nature and detailed artistic curation, noting that the museum would be very educative for kids, She also marveled at the digital art exhibition series displayed by the museum which she found really interesting, “ I am happy with what you all are doing here” she said when asked about her experience in the museum. “Preserving history and culture in a way that connects the past and present using digitalism is really thrilling. It’s an amazing experience”. Her favorite part? “My favorite part would be the digital artworks, I really find them interesting’’ she noted. The Permanent Secretary heartily congratulated the team and encouraged them to keep up the good work.

Kiddies Holiday by the Discovery Kids

Discovery Kids, a creative focal entity for kids, held its kiddies holiday fiesta from the 6th till 24th April 2022. The exciting event was packed full with a lineup of activities including games, laser tag, movies, role play and lots more. Many kids who were in attendance attested to having loads of fun, what a cool way to have fun this holiday.
